What a year!
What a year it’s been! 2021 started with a sale of a beautifully renovated condo in Fairfax after just 4 days on the market. When the owner of 105 Mitchell contacted me her condo was in shambles. A flood from the upstairs unit, plus years of water intrusion had created a significant mold problem. With her home partially demolished, belongings in storage and living in a hotel while her contractor was missing in action, this homeowner was at her wits’ end. Together we managed to finish the renovation, helped her move into a new place, put the property on the market and exceeded her expectations by selling fast and for a great price. Condo sales continued with two units at the Shelter Ridge Condominiums in Mill Valley. Both of these one bedroom units are great for first time buyers or investment properties. In May I helped a lovely first time homebuyer find a gorgeously renovated condo in Mill Valley after she swore she only wanted to live in Sausalito and in October we sold a spacious one bedroom condo in the Richmond District that turned out to be such a good investment that the owner is about to close on a two unit building in Mill Valley (Shh! Knock on wood! We’re still in contract!)
I also had the great pleasure of selling some amazing single family homes. 160 Wilson Way in Larkspur was a whirlwind from start to finish, but what a peaceful and lovely property. 114 Hazel Avenue in Mill Valley had an artistic soul, leading to great conversations at the open houses. Watching spring emerge in the gardens at 2027 Hatch in Novato was a true pleasure, not to mention the blast we had bringing in friends and family to make our “lifestyles” marketing video. 120 Ellsworth brought me back to my old familiar neighborhood in Bernal Heights, where it was great to spend some time.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am to everyone for trusting me on their buying or selling journey. It’s a complicated, emotional process that can be both devastating and exhilarating, sometimes all at the same time. The best part is getting to know people better, and helping make a difference during these transitional moments in their lives. AND - there are thrilling things in the works for 2022! It’s going to be another exciting and busy year ahead and I can’t wait. Happy New Year, everyone!
